What Are Chakras?
Chakras are the energy points or centers in our bodies along our spinal column, starting at the base on up to the crown of our head. The word “chakra” means “wheel.” This is because the chakra points are “spinning wheels” of light which project outward and create an auric field around our bodies, which is always in motion or spinning. We have seven main chakras and each chakra is located on a plexus (or in the center of a network of nerves). Each of these energy centers is ruled by a planet, connecting us to that planet’s energetic nature and characteristics.
A natal chart analysis can show you how your planetary energies (and thus your chakras) are interacting with each other, which can help you become more self-aware and thus better able to center yourself and find congruence all the way up and down the chakras, creating a lovely, harmonious flow up and down your spinal column. Centering yourself with the planetary energies means becoming balanced and thus aligning yourself with your True or Higher Self, which will have you achieving your potential in your life journey, progressing you forward and rising you UP.
The Energetic Process of "Skying" Our Ideas into the Earth Plane via the Chakras*:
At the Crown Chakra, we conceive an idea that comes to us from the Universe.
Third Eye Chakra (connected to Jupiter)
At the Third Eye Chakra, we visualize the idea.
Throat Chakra (connected to Mercury)
At the Throat Chakra, we start talking about the idea with others, putting it into words. Or sometimes we don't and we let the idea go, or we just keep it to ourselves.
Heart Chakra (connected to the Sun)
At the Heart Chakra, our words and conversations with others (or ourselves) may have us embracing the idea with love, and so it continues to manifest.
Solar Plexus Chakra (connected to Mars)
At the Solar Plexus Chakra, we are giddy with "butterflies in our stomach" about the idea and begin to construct and take actionable steps, and with determination, we take them.
Sacral Chakra (connected to Venus)
At the Sacral Chakra, we use our creativity to get through obstacles or frustrations that come up, so we can perfect the idea.
Root Chakra (connected to the Moon)
At the Root Chakra, we manifest the idea into the Earth plane, like planting a seed that, if it is a good one, will grow more beauty and health in the world, and hopefully replicate itself many times over.
Some seeds are good ones and some are not.
The bad ones are "shit."
