What are Natal Chart Readings?

Most astrologers today give natal chart readings that are done in person, over the phone (or Zoom) or via a one-way recording that is pre-recorded and emailed to you. A standard natal chart reading usually lasts about 30 minutes and generally goes over the main themes the astrologer sees in your chart, based on your Ascending sign and the signs and placements of a few of your key planets. This provides a good starting point to give you a succinct, focused view of your chart. The astrologer may also give you some insight into your progressed chart and transits, but in a much less extensive and detailed way than the written progressed chart analysis + transits I offer.

I do not Offer Natal Chart Readings; I Offer Natal Chart Analyses

I do not offer natal chart readings. I offer personalized natal chart analyses, which I write myself and which provide you with a much more detailed, thorough, holistic view of your chart (and thus your psyche) compared to a natal chart reading. I do this by carefully going through all of your planetary aspects and placements, based on your birth details (date, time and place), and I put my interpretations of them into a cohesive, relational, unified sequence. This provides you with a visual, well-structured, holistic, flowing analysis that helps you uncover where your soul is coming from and where you soul is wanting to go, which orients you in a way that gives you greater context and also a lot more detailed information than a natal chart reading.

Whereas Natal Chart Readings are Live or Recorded, Natal Chart Analyses are Written

Whereas natal chart readings are either done live or through a one-way recording and last anywhere from 30 to 90+ minutes, depending on what the astrologer offers, and may have to be listened to before its expiration date (if it's a recording), I email you a 11 - 14+ page personalized, written report (or analysis) saved as a PDF file that you can print out and is yours to keep forever, and is thus something you can read through time and time again, giving you the luxury to think about it, compare it to your actual life experience, refer back to it, reflect upon it, and utilize it in whichever way you find best serves your needs.

You can also modify my written analysis of your chart by writing notes on it according to your own inner wisdom about yourself. Ultimately, you are the one who knows yourself best, as long as you are being honest with yourself. In addition, you might also take note of the parts of the analysis where you may say to yourself, "I used to be like that," giving you a feel for how you've been changing and growing over time, which can be an interesting and eye-opening experience in itself.

Natal Chart Readings are Often Narrowed Down, whereas Natal Chart Analyses are Much More Broad in Scope

Unlike a written natal chart analysis, a natal chart reading is often narrowed down to what you want the astrologer to look at in your chart. Thus, readings tend to focus on specific areas of your chart, such as the area of your work or your relationships, etc. Readings done live also provide you with the option to have conversation with the astrologer and to ask the astrologer specific questions pertaining to your concerns, and some astrologers may even try to help you successfully time certain decisions that you are looking to make in your life, like when the best time would be for you to get married or sell your house, for example.

In my astrology practice, I'm primarily concerned with helping you deeply learn about yourself (your psyche) in a profound, holistic way rather than separating and analyzing different parts of your chart in multiple readings, answering specific questions or making predictions about your future. I want you to learn about your chart in a way that lays it all out for you so you have it all there to work with and can start creating the life your soul truly wants to live. If that sounds like something you'd want, then a written natal chart analysis makes better sense for you than a natal chart reading.
